FORTHCOMING CD RELEASES

KINETIK are due to resume work this month (November) on their next CD project.
The twin CD package is to be titled Re-Generations and will comprise of a CD album and a CD single. The album will feature remixes of various tracks from the Refined album and a selection of live tracks taken from KINETIK's appearance at the EMMA 4 concert held in Derby in May 1997. Linking the tracks will be extracts from KINETIK's Radio Derby interview earlier this year (including the exclusive 'jingle' KINETIK produced for the station) and a selection of new sound snippets. The CD single included with the package will consist of brand new KINETIK material which will be exclusive to this package and has yet not been performed live.

It was originally intended that Re-Generations would be released around April this year to coincide with KINETIK's 'Micro Tour', but unfortunately the project had to be postponed for later in the year due to circumstances beyond the band's control. Most of the work on the album is already complete, and it is expected that Re-Generations will be released in December before the end of
the year.

In January 1999, work is then to resume on KINETIK's second studio album which currently has the working title of Modem Times. This is the album that KINETIK are hoping will have a 'pre - Millenium release' !!!

KINETIK SIGNS WITH WELSH PROMOTIONS COMPANY

KINETIK have recently joined the books of Welsh promotions Agency, Raw Power Promotions, with a view to performing a series of live dates around February 1999. It is planned that KINETIK will initially play on the Welsh university circuit, but it is very possible that KINETIK will play dates further afield (in England !) if these prove successful. In view of these forthcoming live events, KINETIK have now purchased a high-quality video projection system, complete with 20ft screen, so that every future concert can now be guaranteed to include KINETIK's famous synchronised computer graphics.

OTHER RECENT KINETIK PURCHASES

Apart from the above mentioned video projection system, KINETIK have recently purchased some additional Doepfer analogue modular synthesizer modules to help with work on the latest CD projects and the imminent live dates next year. Due to popular interest, a full comprehensive list of KINETIK's Doepfer modular equipment will soon appear soon on the site along with details of how they have been used.
